Consisting of over 2,500 acres of public land, including six ponds and lakes, and more than 26 miles of multiuse trails, Grafton Lakes State Park is the jewel of the Rensselaer Plateau. The diversity of plant and wildlife make it a great place for year-round outdoor recreation – from watersports and hiking to winter sports such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Accomplishments: American Red Cross Instructor; USA Archery Level 1 (Working on Level 2)


Outdoor specialties: Archery; kayaking; fishing; snowshoeing; hiking


Favorite outdoor memory: Watching the faces of my grandchildren as they caught their first fish. 


Most rewarding part of your job: Introducing people to a love of the outdoors they never knew they had. Watching the faces of people when they realize," I can do this!". The jump of joy when someone pops their archery balloon. But most of all, the thousands of smiles I've seen from the people who have enjoyed our programs.
