Recreational Kayak Safety and Rescue Course for Women – Quakertown

Quakertown, Pennsylvania

We created our “For Women” series to celebrate the power of women in the outdoors. These courses offer all the same experiences as our other programs, are led by female guides, are intended for all women. We are proud to offer these courses for all participants who prefer the kinship and comfort of learning with other women.
Get ready for a great season of safe paddling. Perfect for recreational kayakers and anyone else who wants to enhance their kayaking skills, our small-group class gives paddlers the confidence to safely self-rescue and assist others during an unexpected capsize.

After reviewing kayak equipment, safety gear and preparedness, our expert guides will review step by step how to safely handle overturned kayaks and get back into the boat. During this in-water session, participants will learn about wet exits, self-rescue with the paddle float, partnership rescue, plus how to bail out a boat with bilge pump. Don't miss this important learning experience.

All necessary paddling equipment is provided.

Our trips and tours are led by experienced guides who are passionate about the great outdoors and excited to share a new adventure with you. Please join us today.
