    Accommodations

Experience the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains with a stay at Garnet Hill Lodge, overlooking Thirteenth Lake. This cozy retreat, built in 1936, offers a warm atmosphere with a lobby featuring a stone fireplace and comfortable seating.

Your private room includes all linens and towels, newly renovated bathroom, electrical outlets, and in-room air conditioning. Balcony rooms overlooking the lake are available at an additional cost of $150 per room plus taxes, based on availability.

Your trip includes three breakfasts, two self-packed lunches, and three dinners. Connectivity

There is wireless internet available at the lodge. Cellphone coverage can be intermittent.

    Clothing Considerations

Dressing in layers is the key to staying comfortable in the outdoors. Multiple layers allow flexibility to respond to your activity level and changing weather conditions.

Please avoid bringing all-cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. Synthetic fabrics are best because they don’t absorb water, and they also dry quickly.

For an outer layer, we recommend waterproof/breathable outer shell. This gear will protect you from the wind and rain and help keep you dry.

    Luggage

One bag should be a day pack to be carried while hiking. This can be used to carry a water bottle, lunch, extra layer, hat, camera, sunglasses, etc.
