You'll meet your guide in Port Clyde at 9:45 a.m. and board the 10:30 a.m. ferry. During the 12-mile, hour-long ride to the island you're likely to spot sea birds and seals, as well as working lobstermen. After arriving on Monhegan, you'll embark on your island birding adventure. Your guides will lead the group on a hike to spot and identify the myriad migratory bird species that call the island home. You'll then enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch followed by a couple more hours of birding and exploring Monhegan's woods, marshes, and breathtaking bluffs.
