An excellent way to prepare for your big fishing trip, this half-day course will improve your existing fishing skills. We'll help you increase your accuracy and delicacy when trout fishing or distance while fishing saltwater species. You'll learn and practice double hauling, slack-line casting and distance casting as well as how to successfully cast in crosswinds and headwinds.

Riverfront Park: Archery & Fly-Casting
Please park at the Glastonbury Community Center located at 300 Welles Street. Follow the gravel path to the right of the pickleball court to reach the archery range and fly-casting field, where your instructors will be waiting to meet you.
NOTE: If you are entering the park from Main Street, proceed past the parking at 200 Welles Street and the boathouse parking lot until you reach the Community Center.
